Mountain Leader Scheme - Training

This scheme is designed and organised by Mountain Leader Training England. It is intended for teachers/adults who are committed hillwalkers and who hope to accompany groups of young people in the mountains and upland regions of the British Isles. The programme at Ogwen Cottage follows the syllabus closely as recommended by MLTE.

The course is of a strenuous and practical nature comprising high level mountain walks, and a camping expedition. There is also a supporting programme of lectures and theoretical work.
