Equipment
Proper clothing and equipment are essential for outdoor activities, the following information should
provide a guide as to what to bring, together with a list of the equipment we provide.

You Provide
Please bring enough clothing to last a week, suggested items are:
- 3 Outdoor shirts
- 3 Vests or t-shirts
- 3 Pairs of thick socks
- 2 Pairs of outdoor trousers, tracksuit bottoms or combats (jeans are not suitable for outdoor activities)
- 1-2 Fleece style/warm sweaters
- Evening or casual wear of your choice, do not over estimate your needs, you are out on activities until 4.30pm and until 9.00pm each evening
- Washing gear/toiletries
- 2-3 Towels
- 2 Pairs of trainers, one old pair for working outdoors
- Slippers/indoor shoes
- Dressing gown
- Pyjamas
- Underwear for a daily change plus swim wear
- Hat and gloves for outdoor use
- Torch and spare batteries
Do not go out to buy new clothing. The Centre can supply warm clothing if required.

- 1 Waterproof jacket
- 1 Pair of waterproof trousers
- 1 Pair of walking boots (you must bring thick socks)
- 1 Pair of climbing boots
- 1 Fleece
- 1 Rucksac
- 1 Survival bag
- 1 Pair of gloves
- Map & compass
- Helmet
- Ropes & harness
- Canoes, kayaks, rafts
- Wetsuits & bouyancy aids
We also provide all on site transport to and from activities
